Historical cottages, the watchman brings you to the houses where the famous storyteller H.C. Andersen (The Ugly Duckling, The Brave Tin Soldier, Thumbelina) lodged and fell in love. The harbour of Faaborg: Go sailing from island to island with one of the many historical wooden ships that frequent the area all summer. The area around Sinebjerg Camping is perfect for walking and bicycle riding. Only 2 km from the camping site you’ll find the idyllic Dyreborg harbour. You can walk through the woods of Dyreborg Skov all the way down to Faaborg Fjord. Ferries take you from Faaborg to the islands of Ærø, Lyø, Avernakø and Bjørnø.
